The Beginning

Photography is the immortalization of moments in space and time with a creative intent and that speaks for itself.

Here I was, in 2021, grabbing my first camera - the Sony a6400 - and aim for this new journey, not knowing exactly where it will bring me.

After long years of unachievable goals, lost and trapped in those toxic environments from the Architecture offices, I realized my life is draining in vain. There are no goals. Everything is a waste of time and energy for the benefits of the senseless forever-expanding real estate industry, that suffers from the compromises that lie within itself. There is a huge gap between the assertion of what architecture means and the reality of practicing this profession in 21th Century, but this is another story for another time.
Finally I have come to realize I must put all behind and follow my old instincts rooted in arts, because I’ve always craved to create something and not only metaphorically speaking, reach for the light.

Somehow I always did this to a certain level, from hand drawings, portraits, 3D visualizations, CGI work, filming, but photography has been always an intriguing field that I wanted to touch. So I grabbed a Sony a6400  and some Sigma lenses f/1.4 and I began taking photos.
Instinctively, I started to apply all the rules that I had in my blood already and these are the first ones I’ve done.

Someone asked me “what do you want to achieve with your photography?” I want to subtract the essence of the beauty inside, I answered. I didn’t think much of it back then, but we will discover/rediscover these things together. This should answer to many questions such as “What does make a good art?” “What do I have to do to become a great photographer?” “What is a good photo?”
